Libra
Dear Libra, your main cards for 2023 are The Hermit, The Chariot, and Strength.
This year is one of personal development for you, Libras. The Hermit insinuates that you’ve been trying to get out of a sort of mental maze for a while now. Perhaps you’ve lost your way, or perhaps you’ve lost a sense of yourself. Most of this year will still see you trying to navigate the confusing mess that is life. In a way, you might feel the need to be isolated from the rest of the world, or perhaps you become more aware of your loneliness.
Strength and The Chariot, however, reminds you that you still have a very strong support system and when things get tough, rely on them. Perhaps these are people whose help you’ve rejected before because you were worried about losing even more of yourself if you listened. However, trust that you’ve already had enough experience and semblance of who you are over these past years to accept help without forgetting your values. You are intelligent and in many ways, the ability to understand and make judgements for yourself (just yourself, do not try to make decisions for other people) is comparable to none. Just because you have a hard time to choose, doesn’t mean you don’t have the ability to know all the cards laid on the table. Trust yourself and those around you.
Keywords for the year: Judgement, Get Help, Trust Yourself, Finding Yourself, and Accelerate
Love & Relationships: The Hanged Man, Fortune, and The Hierophant
Your love life might be seeing some literal hang-ups, in which things seem have taken on a pause (not by choice). If you’re in a relationship, this could mean some hesitation in you or your partner to move onto the next step; there is an imbalance of wants and needs in which one side wants to progress but the other side is happy to stay where you are.
If you’re unattached, this could mean that other aspects of your life have taken priority in the past and 2023 will be a year of urging you to take action of finally taking care of yourself and your personal needs.
Fortune, however suggests that this will all change this year — whether it is that you’re forced to confront your current situation or to truly make a decision of what your desires are. The Hierophant suggests that perhaps it’s also time to let go of your preconceived expectations of what a relationship should look like, to relax those boundaries, limitations and structures you’ve set for yourself, and just enjoy the process. Don’t be so uptight.
Career & Work: The Tree, The Snake, The House, and The Bear
Personal growth in your career will be a huge theme for your career this year, where you’ll be learning how to really become your namesake (Libra, the scales) in balancing the many many parts of your life. Though I’m sure you’re quite familiar with this already, but issues of home may become a large strain in 2023 as well; whether it be moving into a new place, or focusing on creating a safe space for yourself to thrive. Comfort will be of the essence this 2023.
The Bear poses a continued change in management at your work, whether it be temporary or not. While it might bring stress and issues of feeling pressured, the Bear proposes an opportunity to see your coworkers as simply people rather than (subconsciously) demonising them. The Snake, on the other hand, will be following you this year to remind you to remember what your motivations in pursuing this job is, and may offer an opportunity to be a little more devious in achieving more than what you can achieve.
Being ambitious will be good for you this year.
