A gift to Asia Art Archive from the artist, Sunny Side Up and LeMoon are inspired by the weekly trips Charlotte Mui took as a child with her mum and aunt to a neighbourhood wet market. This diptych depicts whimsical dreamscapes that record the food items they would purchase at different times of the day. Through the use of vivid colours and intricate details, Mui preserves the warmth and wonder evoked by these happy childhood memories.
