L'Œil de L'Âme Tarot (2019 - 2021)

L'Œil de L'Âme Tarot is the first tarot deck I created between 2019 - 2021 and includes 86 illustrated cards (originally watercolour illustrations).

It is also the first artistic project that I completed and it was a turning point in my art career. I made it to prove my capability of creating a large series of paintings. I had been itching to make my own tarot deck ever since I started reading with them when I was fifteen, but it was only in April 2019 that I painted the first card of this deck. It's a very personal deck and project, where every card was painted with specific memories and scenarios in mind, and are filled with whimsical yet dark symbols that illustrate the nuances one faces in life.

The deck is currently in the collections of the Tate Library (London), and Asia Art Archive (Hong Kong).
