#27 Spade

A year later, Mr Peanut Butter had grown to be the saged old king of the refrigerator, ruling his subjects with his queen, Strawberry Jam by his side. Though their year-old memory may fail them now as more and more of themselves become lost to human mouths, they will always remember each food member that passed by the icebox.

It was purely by chance that the refrigerator community morphed into a kingdom. One of the humans had left a spade-like spoon inside the peanut butter jar, and the other foods, mistaking the spoon for a sceptre, decided to worship him as the one and only king of the refrigerator.
